Travis and Shelby Blattner founded Benz Construction with a commitment to quality, integrity, and their hometown roots. Raised in Hutto, TX, and graduates of Tarleton State, they set out to build a business that reflects their values. Travis grew up in construction, learning from his father and family, always dreaming of running a business with his dad. After his father’s passing in 2009, he became even more determined, earning his degree and returning to Central Texas to make that dream a reality. Guided by honesty, faith, and a dedication to their community, Travis and Shelby believe success comes from taking care of their clients, employees, and neighbors.

Benz Construction serves a broad Central Texas territory spanning from Austin to Temple. Our primary service area covers Williamson County (Round Rock, Georgetown, Cedar Park, Leander, Hutto, Pflugerville, Taylor), Travis County (Austin through South Austin), Bell County, and western Milam County including Thorndale and Rockdale. How long has Benz Construction been in business?
Benz Construction was established in 2017 by Travis Blattner. We’ve been building and remodeling homes across Central Texas for over 8 years, completing projects ranging from full custom home builds to kitchen and bathroom remodels, home additions, outdoor living spaces, and interior and exterior renovations.
Does Benz Construction come to my home, or do I need to visit a showroom?
We come to you. Benz Construction is a client-location business — Travis and his team travel to your home or job site throughout our Central Texas service area. There is no showroom to visit. Every project begins with an on-site consultation at your property.
Does Benz Construction use subcontractors?
Our employees and trusted crew members are the men and women on every job. We don’t price out work to multiple guys for each trade — our painters are our painters, our tile guys are our tile guys, our plumbers are our plumbers. You get the same dedicated team from start to finish, not a rotating cast of unfamiliar faces.
